Happy New Year! 2013 has arrived with pouring rain and cold temperatures. It is a perfect day to stay inside and watch football. I have spent the morning reviewing 2012 garden images, pulling out shots from each month that for various reasons were not puplished on my blog. Each year I like to do a 'best of the rest' post, so here it is: Never before seen images of Deb's Garden, 2012. Enjoy!

Very nice! I love May in my garden, but every season has its own beauty. Happy 2013!

Hi Deb. I always enjoy visiting your blog and seeing the beautiful photos of your garden! Fun to see the change of seasons all in one post :-) We've had a few rainy days here, too. A gardener needs those to catch up on inside chores that we can't get to the rest of the year. Have a great new year! I look forward to visiting your blog through this new year.

Your best of the rest is just beautiful. I love that shot in May of the seating area. It is magazine worthy. Everything about it is just perfect, the green background to the flower drifts. I wish you the best too. Happy New Year, Deb.

Your Best of the Rest is tops! I always think of your garden as serene, even when there is color and blooming excitement going on. You've got a lovely design and balance and all your photo shots show it. Happy 2013.

Really lovely photos Deb, great to wander through a whole year at once in your garden. I think my favourite season is spring, but then it depends which plant is flowering at the moment! Hope you and your garden have a good year in 2013 !

I would love to stroll through your gardens, especially in March! Look at those Azaleas! When I see your photos, sometimes I think I'm looking at pictures from a botanical garden. I don't know how you keep it looking so beautiful all of the time. Happy New Year!

You've done an excellent job of creating interest in your garden year round. Each month had its charm and something to enjoy. Even January with that moss carpet and bench is an invitation to stroll around your garden. You've got a tree to scent the garden in February, spectacular colour in March and by April everything is a beautiful wall of green.

My favourite gardening month is April, as that is the start of my gardening year, and all of the bulbs first come out.

Hi Deb
Your beautiful photos remind us why we all love gardening so much. Oh! Those colourful flowers and shrubs. And it's always interesting to see the Dec - Mar photos with no snow :)

I love that idea! There are always those photos that don't seem to fit a particular post, but some are pretty good shots. Yours are awesome! Thanks for sharing!

Deb that was a really lovely tour, besides being a collection of lovely shots, whether wide views or details such as the ivy on the plinth. All magazine worthy, and as one of your other readers says, of such a beautifully tranquil garden! Thanks for sharing and all the best for 2013! (Oh - autumn is my favourite time in my garden, which makes it April and May. but I love the seasonality of it best of all, so I guess I must say the current month is my favourite :) ...)

Your year in review is so peaceful. It was so relaxing to just scroll through the photos at leisure and revel in the beauty that is your garden. Thanks for taking the time to cull through your shots from 2012 ... it was definitely worth the effort. You inspire me to try to find the time to do the same :) Happy New Year, Deb.
