Marble Skies and an Angel Shadow

Marble skies above the earth:

And an angel shadow. Do you know what this really is?

The heavens were lovely the day I took the sky shots above, but when a jet left its long contrails stretched across the feathered clouds, the effect was extraordinary. That same day I noticed an interesting shadow cast upon the concrete patio. Did you guess a hummingbird feeder?

Sometimes the day offers ephemeral gifts to us, if we happen to see them!

I hope you all have a great week, and may you not overlook any of life's blessings.

Marvellous sky photos ... love the way you arranged on the mosaic! I would never have picked 'hummingbird feeder' ... not something I'm used to seeing!

What great images revealed. Thanks for reminding me to stop and be aware. Love that shadow. If you hadn't mentioned the feeder I would not have guessed.

Dear Deborah, A touch of magic here in these beautiful images. Light plays the most extraordinary tricks and, sometimes, such as the instances you have captured here, the effect is breathtaking. What a lovely thought for the week. may your week be full of joy too!

Deb, your sky photos are beautiful, but I really love the angel shadow. How perfect that it was created by the hummingbird feeder!

What a heavenly post! Beautiful photos, and yes, we should take time to notice, as such moments of beauty are fleeting. How lucky you were to be able to catch these! I too had no idea. Is the feeder shadow upside down then?

I was going to guess "Angel's Shadow!" I'm positive there are angels in your garden!

Dear Deb - lovely post title and marvellous mosaic. I would have guessed your angel was a weathervane given the sky pics - never imagained a hummingbird feeder.
